The Time Has Come To Say GoodBye to GTrends

Hi Everyone,

First, I would like to say that I appreciate everyone that has downloaded my GTrends Made Easy software.  I realize that for the past month or so, the Estimated Google search count based on the GTrends method has been broken.  Fixing this problem has been on my list of things to do and I actually found and fixed the problem earlier this week.  I have been working on adding some of the feature requests that people had mentioned they wanted in the software.

However, I feel that at this point there is no need to continue working on GTME and I have decided to not release a new version of this software.  The current version works well with Wordze still, so if you are using it with Wordze, then all of the Wordze info is displayed without a problem.  However, I would say that the vast majority of users were only utilizing the Google Estimated search feature.

Since Google is now giving ACTUAL search volume numbers in their own keyword tool, I feel that it is no longer necessary to utilize the GTrends method and hence that portion of my software is no longer needed.

If any of you would still like me to fix the gtrends portion and post a new version, then please let me know.  Otherwise, I do not plan on releasing a new version of GTME.

Best Wishes,

Benjamin

Gtrends Made Easy is Working Again

It looks like Google has re-instated the keyword that is the base comparison phrase for calculating GTrends.  That means that GTME is working again.  I don’t know if Google will remove the base comparison phrase again or not, but for now, GTME is working!

I hope everyone takes advantage of this opportunity to find those niche phrases!

Best Wishes,

Benjamin

P.S. Thanks to Shannon & Chris for letting me know that Google had re-instated the phrase. ;-)

Should I Download GTME Even Though It Doesn’t Return the Google Search Count Right Now?

Of course!!

The main reason you should go ahead and download GTME is so that you will be added to my email list and I can notify you once there is a working version available (for free).

Don’t worry, I don’t send out emails to you trying to get you to buy affiliate offers.  You can ask anyone on my list, the last email I sent out was back in January of this year (and it was for an affiliate offer that I thought would be useful, however, I quickly decided to not do that again and haven’t since).  So, you won’t get bombarded with spam or affiliate junk from me. :-)

Best Wishes,

Benjamin

Google Shuts Down GTME

You may have noticed recently that Gtrends Made Easy is not returning an estimated Google Search Volume count (other than -1).

The reason for this is that Google has removed the baseline search phrase that GTME used to estimate other search phrases from it’s Google Trends website.

Remember that GTME was developed based on the GTrends method from the Thirty Day Challenge.  The folks at the Thirty Day Challenge are working on some additional baseline phrases that we can use.

Once they have released those phrases, I will update GTME and let you know where you can download the new version for free.  I also plan on making this next version configurable so that you can use your own baseline phrase if you want.

The current version still returns the estimated number of search results for the exact match of the phrase and it can also be used with a Wordze subscription to retrieve keyword suggestions and search volume counts, however, it will not return the estimated google search volume.

Best Wishes,

Benjamin

How to get a great Google Quality Score with a Direct Linking PPC Campaign

Do you ever wish you could just do a Direct Linking PPC campaign to an affiliate offer to test it out, but find it hard to get a  good quality score for your keywords on Google?

I have a method that I have developed that allows me to do just that.  I am able to test affiliate campaigns with an easy, step-by-step method of keyword research using GTrends Made Easy that gives me good keywords that Google likes.

To give you an idea of how well this method has worked for me, I made two videos showing the method in full detail.  The affiliate offer I am promoting and the PPC campaign have been running for two days.

As of today, I had 58 clicks and 1 conversion.  The cost of PPC was $25.35 and my commission was $35.  Almost a $10 profit.  However, my goal was not necessarily to see if the campaign was profitable, I was merely wanting to see if the offer was converting before I spent any serious time doing keyword research, building a PPC campaign, building a website/landing page, etc.

Total time I have spent on testing this offer was 20 minutes (not counting the hour it took for GTrends Made Easy to process the keywords).

Enough of me explaining, watch the following two videos and I think you will understand much better and hopefully see the power of the technique and maybe even put your own twist on it.

Part 1

Part 2

I hope that helps you with your own keyword research and campaigns!

Best Wishes,

A Sincere Thankyou and A Christmas Gift!

I just wanted to thank everyone for their appreciation and interest in GTrends Made Easy.

For those of you who have signed up for Wordze through my affiliate link in the application or this site, I sincerely appreciate it and I hope that you truly see 100 fold return using the service.

For those of you who have simply made a donation because you appreciated the tool, I sincerely thank you as well and also hope you see 100 fold return using this tool.

As a way of saying thanks, I am going to make a small challenge to you.  The Christmas season is upon us and I feel that everyone could benefit from using this tool.  My goal is to have this tool being used by 5,000 internet marketers by December 1st.  Right now, it has been downloaded by over 300 people, which I think is fantastic considering this is a brand new site and has only been released 3 days.  But, I am asking for your help to spread the word about GTrends Made Easy and help me hit this goal.  You are great internet marketers, so it should be easy to do with your knowledge and circle of influence.

My Christmas Gift to You

The reward for meeting this goal is that I will give you a chance to make your suggestions on how to improve this tool to meet your needs and release a version 2.0 that will include these suggestions(as long as they are possible to do) for FREE.  For every 1,000 users of GTrends Made Easy by December 1st, I will implement 1 suggestion/new feature, up to a total of 5.

The way it will work is you will send in your suggestions and I will keep a list on the site.  On Dec. 1st, we will determine the total number of unique users based on downloads of GTrends Made Easy (please don’t download more than once),  divide that number by 1,000 and round to the nearest whole number.  That will give us the number of features (up to 5) I will implement out of the list of suggestions.

To determine which of the suggestions will be implemented, we will vote on them the first week in December.  At the end of the week, we will have our winners and I will get to work.  ;-)

I will release version 2.0 with the voted upon features as soon as they are finished and stable for FREE.

So, start spreading the word and tell all of your friends and forums about GTrends Made Easy (please don’t spam the forums or email lists), and let’s build a great FREE keyword tool.

Best Wishes,

Benjamin

GTrends Made Easy version 1.1 is released!!

I have released a new version of GTrends Made Easy today.  There was a suggestion made by a user that I thought was a great idea and was fairly simple to implement, so I went ahead and made it happen.

The new version (the download link was sent to everyone that has already downloaded version 1.0) gives you the ability to use this tool as an interface to Wordze’s API.  What that means is that if you don’t want to calculate GTrends for every keyword but just want to use Wordze’s search volume counts, now you don’t have to.  In version 1.0, if you include Wordze keywords, then it will calculate GTrends for every keyword that comes from Wordze.  This takes time because it goes out to Google for each keyword.  For those of you who aren’t interested in the GTrends information every time, now you can do a much quicker search just using Wordze results.

If you just want to do a quick search on a niche, now you can enter in your keywords and in a matter of seconds retrieve all of Wordze’s related keywords, along with the search counts.  You don’t have to go to their website to do this anymore.

The gentleman that made this suggestion even said he would be willing to pay for such a feature, but I told him that I want to keep this tool free and decided to go ahead and add it in as a bonus.

So, if you haven’t downloaded GTrends Made Easy, then go ahead and get it.  Use the green button on the right or click here

If you have already downloaded it, then you should have received an email giving you the new link to download the latest version.  If you didn’t get the email, let me know and I will send you the link.

Best Wishes,

Benjamin
