Something’s Cooking in the Benjamin Maker Kitchen

Some of you know that I have been hard at work honing my affiliate marketing craft these last few months.

I apologize for my lack of updates to this site and even to the GTME software.  No matter how hard I try, I can never seem to get more than 24 hours in a day, but I feel like I need 36.  ;)

For those of you that are fans of the software and affiliate marketing tips I have given away in the past, don’t go anywhere because I have something coming that I think you are going to LOVE!

I don’t want to say too much more at this point, but stay tuned over the next two weeks and find out how you will take your Internet Marketing to the next level!

Best Wishes,

Benjamin

The Time Has Come To Say GoodBye to GTrends

Hi Everyone,

First, I would like to say that I appreciate everyone that has downloaded my GTrends Made Easy software.  I realize that for the past month or so, the Estimated Google search count based on the GTrends method has been broken.  Fixing this problem has been on my list of things to do and I actually found and fixed the problem earlier this week.  I have been working on adding some of the feature requests that people had mentioned they wanted in the software.

However, I feel that at this point there is no need to continue working on GTME and I have decided to not release a new version of this software.  The current version works well with Wordze still, so if you are using it with Wordze, then all of the Wordze info is displayed without a problem.  However, I would say that the vast majority of users were only utilizing the Google Estimated search feature.

Since Google is now giving ACTUAL search volume numbers in their own keyword tool, I feel that it is no longer necessary to utilize the GTrends method and hence that portion of my software is no longer needed.

If any of you would still like me to fix the gtrends portion and post a new version, then please let me know.  Otherwise, I do not plan on releasing a new version of GTME.

Best Wishes,

Benjamin

Gtrends Made Easy is Working Again

It looks like Google has re-instated the keyword that is the base comparison phrase for calculating GTrends.  That means that GTME is working again.  I don’t know if Google will remove the base comparison phrase again or not, but for now, GTME is working!

I hope everyone takes advantage of this opportunity to find those niche phrases!

Best Wishes,

Benjamin

P.S. Thanks to Shannon & Chris for letting me know that Google had re-instated the phrase. ;-)

Google Shuts Down GTME

You may have noticed recently that Gtrends Made Easy is not returning an estimated Google Search Volume count (other than -1).

The reason for this is that Google has removed the baseline search phrase that GTME used to estimate other search phrases from it’s Google Trends website.

Remember that GTME was developed based on the GTrends method from the Thirty Day Challenge.  The folks at the Thirty Day Challenge are working on some additional baseline phrases that we can use.

Once they have released those phrases, I will update GTME and let you know where you can download the new version for free.  I also plan on making this next version configurable so that you can use your own baseline phrase if you want.

The current version still returns the estimated number of search results for the exact match of the phrase and it can also be used with a Wordze subscription to retrieve keyword suggestions and search volume counts, however, it will not return the estimated google search volume.

Best Wishes,

Benjamin
