GTrends Made Easy is different from all of the other keyword research tools available.

  • First, The Holy Grail of Numbers for keyword research is to know the actual search volume of a keyword on Google.  There are no keyword services that I am aware of that actually give you this number or even a close estimate, until now(Wordtracker does have a free tool that you can use, but it limits you to 100 keywords).  GTrends Made Easy gives you a very close approximation of actual searches on Google.  You can actually determine the number of searches a given keyword has on Google and no longer depend on the little green bars in the Adwords keyword tool.  This gives you a better idea of whether there are enough searches to justify using the specific keyword.
  • Second, it gives you the competing web page count for the exact keyword phrase found in Google search.  With the search volume and competing web page count information together, you can quickly find the low hanging fruit and go after those keywords first.
  • Third, it can take advantage of Wordze’s api.  If you aren’t using Wordze, then you are missing out.  Wordze is a great keyword research service similar to Wordtracker, but in my opinion, better.  The advantage of using Wordze is that you get data that is different than most other marketers using Wordtracker or Google.  Although there is obviously common keywords, you will also find keywords that the other services don’t have.  This is to your advantage because there can often be great keywords that not every other marketer is using because they use the same tools as everyone else.  You gain a competitive advantage this way.

So, How much does it cost?

Here is the great news.  I am giving this away to you completely free.  I wrote this application for my own use and then I decided that there are a lot of people, both beginner and veteran internet marketers, that could benefit from using it.  I debated whether I should charge for it or not, since I did spend a good bit of time developing it.  However, in the end I decided to give it away.  I believe that what goes around, comes around and that hopefully you will contribute something positive to my life one day.  Whether it is a kind word or financial gift or just help if I ever need it. 

So How Does GTrends Made Easy Work? 

GTrends Made Easy is a free software application that takes the concept of GTrends from the 30 Day Challenge and puts it on auto-pilot.  You have two choices.  You can do your keyword research either with or without using Wordze.  It is simple to use.  Just give your project a name and enter all of the keywords that you want to research.  Then decide if you want to use Wordze or not and click the “Process Keywords” button.  At that point, your work is done.  You just let it run and it will automatically process each keyword and determine the Google search count and competing web page count for every keyword in your list.  If you have chosen to use Wordze, then it will also process all of the keywords that wordze has for your given keyword, based on your match type.  You can understand it easier by watching these help videos.

Do I have to subscribe to Wordze for it to work?

Absolutely Not!  It will work without using wordze.  If you have another keyword tool that you use to get your keyword list, then just enter those keywords into the keyword box and start processing them.  It works the same.  The only thing you need to be aware of is that there is a 500 keyword limit per project, so don’t enter more than 500 keywords at a time for processing in one project. If you do use Wordze, there is no limit to the number of keywords that you can process because Wordze can return thousands of keywords for just one top level keyword like “dog” and the software will process each one.

What can I do with the keyword information?

When the keywords are processed, you can view the results.  You can sort based on any column and you can filter the results based on either the google count or the competing web page count or both.  This allows you to find keywords that have more than X number of searches per day and less than Y number of competing web pages, where X & Y are the values that you wish to filter by.  This allows you to process thousands of keywords and find the ones that are the least competitive, yet still have a high search volume.  This is known as the “low hanging fruit” and is the easiest to make money from.  Once you have determined the best keywords, then you can use them in your SEO & PPC campaigns and start making money.

Step by Step Process

  1. Take a look at Wordze and decide if you want to use their keyword service.  If you sign up, you will have access to their API and can really expand your keyword research using GTrends Made Easy.
  2. Download and Install GTrends Made Easy software. (Watch the help videos to see how to install & use)
  3. If you signed up for Wordze or already have an account, be sure to get your API key from their site and enter it into the software.
  4. Run the application,  enter in the keywords you wish to research, and let it work on auto-pilot while you go do something else with your valuable time!
